In case you missed our first part of the road trip, you can read it here.
As we promised, part II. is mainly about coffeeshops and street art which we spotted during our “shop hustling” in Berlin. So lets start right with the best coffee place in Berlin.
Bonanza Coffee Roasters, was the first coffee place we stopped by. It was just a block away from our Airbnb and according to the Internetz it’s one of the best places to get a good freshly roasted coffee in Berlin. We can only confirm that + you get to read all those fancy magazines (for which we did not have time).
You can find some kind of street art behind every corner, on every wall or garbage bin in Berlin.
Next stop was Kaschk coffee typical for it’s Nordic interior. Run by few australians who except coffee, serve also an impressive range of international craft beers. To be honest, coffee tasted little oddly but overall the atmosphere was nice.
“Graffiti is one of the few tools you have if you have almost nothing. And even if you don't come up with a picture to cure world poverty you can make someone smile while they're having a piss.” Banksy
ABIDELESS also left it’s mark in Berlin. By the way how do you like our new sticker designs?
Each day we walked about 15 km so we also spotted few familiar places that are merging art with history and timeless messages.
There are several other coffeeshops we have to mention but the coffee was so good that we forgot to take a photo:
